Congratulations to Eva Barry who won
Second Place in the Division B Tall Tales contest on October 27. This
was Eva’s first speech contest competition.
Kudos to her for embracing a new opportunity so successfully! On Saturday, November 3, I represented
our club at the District 52 Table Topics contest and won first place. Without
your support, kind words, advice, and the occasional “nudging” I
can honestly say I would never have set foot in front of the lectern.
Thank you for helping me speak to my success. I feel so lucky to be a member of Warner
Center Toastmasters. We
are a vibrant, dynamic and talented club.
Our meetings are consistently loaded with opportunities to
improve our skills. We
offer our members unlimited encouragement on their communication and
leadership journey. Don’t miss out… join us this
Thursday, November 8 and speak to your success! Susan Mayberry, ATMB, CL President, Club #2966

Improve your confidence when speaking in front of people!
Toastmasters is dedicated to helping you overcome your fear of
public speaking, so why fumble around in the dark with your self-image? Think of
your Toastmasters club as a communications laboratory, a forum for
experimentation, a friendly place where it's OK to make mistakes -- in
short, a workshop to polish your personal
style. Warner Center Toastmasters has been enhancing careers and enriching interpersonal communications for our members for twenty-five years. Why leave great speaking skills to politicians and captains of industry? You too can speak like a pro, and we'll show you how. It all comes together in a clearly defined and well-supported program of speeches and exercises that help you to sharpen your verbal skills, organize your words and gestures, and make you fast on your feet. Lose your fear of speaking in front of a large group, and you'll feel more confident speaking to anybody!
We DO meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month without fail (except Xmas). Meeting begins at 630pm, gavel at 7pm. Meeting concludes approximately 9pm. Guest fee: five dollars. This site is updated twice a month with forthcoming meeting details, so check back often. For details, please contact:
