Speak to Your Success! Dear Warner Center Toastmasters: Please join us for our last meeting of 2007, this Thursday,
December 13th. Our
theme is “LIGHT.” We
celebrate the “lights” of season - Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanza. We also celebrate the Toastmaster mission of helping each
other develop enlightened
communication and leadership skills.
Come celebrate the light This time of year is also a time of reflection.
I wish to express my gratitude to the many members who have contributed to the success of
our club. In particular: ·
Thank you to Tess Asiala for hosting another amazingly fun
WCTM Holiday party. We
appreciate your gracious hospitality.
Thanks also to Lois Coburn for chairing the food and beverage committee and providing us with plenty of
delicious snacks and drinks. And
thank you to Cate Bramble for chairing the clean up crew.
Once again our holiday party was a great success! ·
Thank you to the officers of our club - Bonnie Schuman,
Glen Rankel, Eleonor Arellano, Arnold Arch, John Graves, Beverly
Rankel and Cate Bramble. I
appreciate the time and effort you give, ensuring the needs of our
members are met at each and every meeting. ·
Thank you to Rose Lane, our Founder, for always keeping the
club headed toward success. There
is no detail too small or challenge too large that you will not
address. You are a
constant advocate for our speaking and leadership growth. And finally, a sincere thank you to the members of Warner
Center. At every meeting,
at every WCTM gathering I see you express kindness and generosity. I see a genuine interest in helping your fellow members
improve and succeed. We have an extraordinary club because of you. I wish all of you a joyous holiday season and a New Year that is filled with great speeches, outstanding leadership opportunities and many days of dreams come true! Susan Mayberry, ATMB, CL President, Club #2966 Speak to Your Success!

Improve your confidence when speaking in front of people! Toastmasters
is dedicated to helping you overcome your fear of public speaking, so
why fumble around in the dark with your self-image? Think of your
Toastmasters club as a communications laboratory, a forum for
experimentation, a friendly place where it's OK to make mistakes -- in
short, a workshop to polish your personal style. Warner Center Toastmasters has been enhancing careers and enriching interpersonal communications for our members for twenty-five years. Why leave great speaking skills to politicians and captains of industry? You too can speak like a pro, and we'll show you how. It all comes together in a clearly defined and well-supported program of speeches and exercises that help you to sharpen your verbal skills, organize your words and gestures, and make you fast on your feet. Lose your fear of speaking in front of a large group, and you'll feel more confident speaking to anybody!
We DO meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month without fail (except Xmas). Meeting begins at 630pm, gavel at 7pm. Meeting concludes approximately 9pm. Guest fee: five dollars. This site is updated twice a month with forthcoming meeting details, so check back often. For details, please contact:
