You too can speak like a pro, and we'll show you how!

Toastmasters is dedicated to helping you overcome your fear of public speaking, so why fumble around in the dark with your self-image? Think of your Toastmasters club as a communications laboratory, a forum for experimentation, a friendly place where it's OK to make mistakes -- in short, a workshop to polish your personal style.

Every Toastmaster knows that your fears and nervousness are magnified much more when you speak before an audience-- exactly the training you need to break down the barriers to reaching new friends and business prospects one-on-one, making you more at ease with yourself.

If  this sounds good to you, then come join us every two weeks for a light buffet and some great speakers at the Warner Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills. The Marriott provides a wide variety of excellent meeting rooms for the largest, most active
Toastmasters club in greater Los Angeles.

For professionals on the fast track, Toastmasters is the secret oil that keeps your engine running smoothly, a crucial pit stop in your business life. Warner Center Toastmasters has been enhancing careers and enriching interpersonal communications for our members for over twenty-five years. Why leave great speaking skills to politicians and captains of industry? You too can speak like a pro, and we'll show you how.

marriott hotelIt all comes together in a clearly defined and well-supported program of speeches and exercises that help you to sharpen your verbal skills, organize your words and gestures, and make you fast on your feet. Lose your fear of speaking in front of a large group, and you'll feel more confident speaking to anybody!

The Warner Marriott is located at 21850 Oxnard Street at the corner of Topanga. From Santa Clarita to Calabasas, Santa Monica to Chatsworth, we have active members from all over the area.

We DO meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month without fail (except Xmas and Thanksgiving). Greeting begins at 630pm, meeting/program begins promptly at 7pm. Meeting concludes approximately 9pm. Guest fee: five dollars. (To avoid high hotel parking fees, may we suggest you park on the side street behind the hotel or in the Promenade Mall across Oxnard.) This site is updated twice a month with forthcoming meeting details, so check back often.  For details, please contact:

Fellow Toastmasters ~

We invite you to come back into our semantic environment this Thursday, where incurable romantic Rose Lane's got some questions in her quiver that will probe affairs of the heart and winnersother delicate matters. Our meeting will be helmed by none other than our esteemed President Eleanor Arellano, whose medical skills may well come in handy as she is called upon to revive members felled by cupid's arrow.

With five speakers on tap, including the long-awaited Michelle Dornfest icebreaker, talks from Dr Hanzelik and Philip Grove, and speakers Diane and Teresa nearing the magic number of 10 speeches, this promises to be a compelling evening of oratory. Master Evaluator Carolyn Goldman will be leading our evaluation team.

We'd be very delighted to have you on board as our guest to vivify the evening's entertainment! Members and the public are welcome!

Don't be late! Program starts promptly at 7pm!

Love,

the Toaster's Choice Staff

IN CASE YOU MISSED THIS ONE OUR NEXT MEETING IS FEB 25th, THURSDAY. CHECK BACK FOR DETAILS!
